Sanditon, Bridgerton, and David Copperfield: Modernizing the Representation of Black People in Eighteenth and Nineteenth-Century England

Professor Gretchen Holbrook Gerzina, author of Black London: Life before Emancipation, will speak on “Sanditon, Bridgerton, and David Copperfield: Modernizing the Representation of Black People in Eighteenth and Nineteenth-Century England” at the JASNA NY February regional meeting. All (members/non-members) are welcome to attend. Donations appreciated.
