We also highlight events of interest from the broader Jane Austen and Regency world. All event times reflect the organizers’ local time zones. Tea Party in the Park – JASNA Central California In-Person Event
April 29, 2023 @ 11:00 am – 3:00 pm PDT
Our 2nd event of the year will be an al fresco tea party and book discussion in Woodward Park, Fresno, with an optional visit to the Shinzen Friendship Garden. This social outing is a great opportunity to visit our JASNA region and get to know us a bit better.
Regency costumes are admired but not required. Garden party attire is also encouraged. Parasols and BYO chair recommended.

Menu: We will provide a spread of tea, cold beverages, and a few tea sandwiches and baked goods. Feel free to contribute.
Our event is free and open to the public. (Woodward Park charges $5 cash per car to enter the park. Shinzen Garden entry is also $5 for adults/$1 for Seniors.)
